Strong suggestion... if you are not using the free FireFox web browser (did I mention FREE) you should get it and run it. One very nice feature is that it lets you change the size of the text by pressing CTRL and + or - to make the text larger or smaller. Nice for those who mislaid their glasses! For helping you keep safe from virus problems I suggest Avast.
Avast is a FREE antivirus software package from a reputable large company. I suggest you download and install it also. You can get it at Download Avast
You can also select a different Font set under the "Site Appearance Change" menu (very bottom of side menu)option,if you find that a different font or color scheme helps to read the content.
The tiny words "Menu Fixed/Scroll" change the menu so it scrolls up and down or stays in one place. If your screen is small, select "Scroll".
Security Info is a longish article by a very trusted source and covers most all aspects of securing your computer. I strongly suggest you read it. The individuals language is not offensive but is direct. This is really good information.
Other user information will be placed here as will information on Free products to protect your computer and methods to help you avoid virus problems. Such as:
- Turn off the 'preview pane or window' in your email program. Viruses are being embedded in large images and if the image is displayed... you can get the virus.
- Don't open email where you don't recognize the sender or the subject line looks like junk mail. Just delete it.
